Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St Petersburg is seeking a highly motivated and service-minded individual to join the team as a Director of Public Relations and Communications.
The role:
The Director of Public Relations and Communications is responsible for the development and execution of an annual strategic and integrated plan that is comprised of public relations, social media and marketing communications strategies that support the business objectives, increase awareness and positive perception of the properties, the Food and Beverage outlets, Spa, services and personnel, and contribute to driving traffic and revenues.
Director of Public Relations and Communications is also responsible for developing, generating and executing awareness of Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St Petersburg within the digital universe, including social media channels, property website, and proprietary websites. Develop digital marketing campaigns, creative assets, copy, and other internal and external sales & marketing efforts. Work closely with the sales & marketing team to provide social media support and to generate presence of our hotel and its features and products. Implement and upkeep consistent brand voice and tone across all functions in the digital sphere.
Reponsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic plan including PR, social media and other marketing communications channels to support the business objectives of the hotel;
Deploy a creative content strategy across multiple owned and earned channels;
Manage image and reputation management;
Work closely with operational departments on marketing and promotion;
Requirements:
A minimum of three years’ experience in public relations and/or marketing communications in a senior role in luxury business;
A university degree in journalism or communications or equivalent experience in public relations or journalism;
Strong and effective interpersonal skills, outstanding communication and presentation skills;
Proven relationships with media, community and business contacts that have delivered demonstrable results, and the personality to maximize these contacts;
Excellent communications skills (verbal and written), a strong sense of quality and a creative mind set;
A self-starter that can multi-task and prioritize;
Proficiency in leveraging social media networks and related monitoring tools;
The ability to create newsworthy events, develop story ideas and follow through with pitch leads;
A portfolio highlighting writing samples, project and media plans will be required.
