Gigantic is an innovative and successful gaming startup, transforming the world of arcade games, making physical machines playable live on mobile apps. Now the company is seeking a Director of Product who is also to own and manage the entire process of creating the next big game.
Responsibilities:
Ownership of product and the process!
In charge of creating and executing product requirements, driving the product life cycle from PRD to launch to analysis and improvements
Orchestrate all resources of the project to ensure they are in sync and that the project is progressing according to plan
Working closely with the R&D teams to define requirements and ensure the end-to-end high quality product delivery
Communicating the product roadmap to both internal and external key stakeholders
Using A/B Testing and analytics to drive decision making
Find opportunities for key initiatives to improve the user experience
Manage ongoing maintenance and improvement of product features
Proactively identify opportunities, trends and best practices in the game industry.
Requirements:
At least three years experience as a Product Manager in the mobile gaming Industry — MUST
Deep understanding of player’s mentality and motivations. Passion for games.
Experience with defining meta game features (such as leaderboard, progression mechanisms, collections, secondary currency, loot boxes, missions, etc).
Ability to clearly communicate concepts orally and in writing (English / Russian) and cooperate with all stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, computer science, math or a related field- an advantage.
A problem solver – highly inventive thinker that will provide insightful, innovative solutions to any problem
Data driven, excellent analytical skills, and high attention to details.
Technical fluency & deep understanding of game development practices.
Proven expertise developing user stories, writing PRD’s & feature specifications, and partnering effectively with UI/UX and engineering teams to make appropriate trade-offs while ensuring excellence in execution.
Languages: English and Russian.
