Mastercard looking for Director of Product Management.
— As part of Network Product & Strategy team, this role will own the product vision & development roadmap for new-payment and non-payment flows on the New Switch.
— The individual will be instrumental in bringing the product to life in close collaboration with other product managers, delivery leads and PM-Ts.
Responsibilities:
— Ideate, analyze and elaborate the design and roadmap of new payment flows on New Switch in collaboration with New Switch and New Payments Platform product and architecture teams.
— Provide thought leadership and point-of-view on integration of non-payment (data or services) flows into New Switch.
— Take ownership of initiatives, collaborate with Product Architects to create comprehensive high level designs, features & specifications.
— Own a subset of New Switch business capabilities and establish themself as single-threaded owner for these capabilities — from definition to execution and acceptance.
— Partner effectively with engineering teams across multiple programs (New Switch, New Payments Platforms, Next Edge, Distributed Platforms etc.) and align these programs towards the common goals and objectives of Network of the Future.
Skills & Experience:
— Product development & management experience required.
— Understanding of various payments formats (cards, account-to-account, push/pull, open/closed loop etc.)
— Understanding of payment switching & settlement processes highly desirable.
— Experience with creating web-scale, high-throughput, low-latency, high-volume systems highly desirable.
— Payment industry experience required.
— Software design & delivery experience preferred.
— Understanding of, or experience with, event driven applications a bonus
— Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills required.
— Computer science and/or management qualifications required.
