The Olympic Channel is looking for a Director of Product Management to join the team and have direct impact on how fans discover and interact with unique content from one of the world’s most respected sports brands.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a team of Product Managers to reach set goals
Refine the product development process together with the Head of Product and the Technology team
Help define Product vision, strategy & roadmap
Identify market trends & new business opportunities
Assess competitive challenges and deliver clear strategic recommendations
With the help of the Data and Research teams, define, analyze and report metrics that inform on products success (both problem areas & opportunities)
Help plan and direct resource schedules as well as project budgets
Help shape and influence company’s overall business strategy
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years Product Management and Leadership experience
Experience with web, mobile app, and connected televisions
Experience managing Agile product development process
Proven track record with successful consumer sports and/or news digital products
Ability to lead cross functional teams, manage dependencies & deliver results
Act as the bridge between strategic planning and tactical execution
Strong analytical skills, with ability to create appropriate KPIs to measure success
People-focused, with ability to understand end user needs and translate into actionable strategies
Technically savvy & comfortable with a multitude of software systems & tools
Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as part of a team
Clear track record of getting things done in timely & efficient manner
Ability to remain flexible, juggle multiple priorities, & change directions as needed
Excellent writing and speaking skills; this individual must be able to communicate ideas and information clearly and concisely
Fluent English

Permanent position based in Madrid, Spain
Some international travel may be required
