А global manufacturing company is seeking a Director of Operations.
Director of Operations Responsibilities:
Formulate & implement manufacturing programs and processes
Manage the production schedule, including the management of manufacturing and test engineering.
Focus on Quality, On Time Delivery, Labor Efficiency, and Cost Management.
Strategize and develop the annual plan and budget.
Coordinate the production requirements across business units and geographic locations.
Develop business unit strategy and participate in the development of corporate strategy.
Develop workforce planning and utilization programs to satisfy actual and projected requirements.
Implement employee cross-training activities and plans for employees development to support a highly flexible work force.
Director or Operations Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Required. MBA is preferred
Minimum of 10 years comparable business experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Experience with oversight of multiple plant operations preferred
Background in plant startups and/or production transfers will be helpful
Experience in Total Cycle Time principles and standard problem solving tools to continuously improve work processes.
The ability to travel occasionally is required.
