Job Overview:
Director, Marketing, Market Area Russia & CIS, plans and steers marketing in the Market Area (MA). The role focuses on marketing planning and strategy creation of the MA, as well as implementation, and is responsible of the local marketing budget. As head of marketing of the region, he/she will also manage a team of one additional
marketing specialist.

Local marketing team plans and executes local events based on global event management guidelines, as well as actively participates in planning and execution of any global events in the MA. Content creation is also key in the role, generating case studies and news for all channels. The local marketing team manages all local customer newsletters and contributes to global newsletters with MA specific content. They should also share
content with local trade media and are responsible for localizing content for MA specific needs.

Market Area Marketing Director acts as a business partner towards local management and sales. Understanding customer needs, sales requirements and liaising with segment teams is crucial in creating local marketing strategy.
A key requirement in the position is co-operating with a global team of marketing colleagues. This includes e.g. implementing global guidelines, practices, and projects, as well as sharing knowledge and best practices. The person also has an important role in owning the local process for our Customer Loyalty program. He/she is also
responsible for MA contact database health in CRM.

Ensuring brand consistency within the MA is also key, and this person acts as a Brand ambassador. He/she executes all local branding activities and liaises closely with Corporate Communications and Business Area marketing. The role also includes some communications activities, both internal and external.
The person is part of the Market Area management team. The role reports to the Head of Market Area and in dotted line to Global Head of Market Area Marketing.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for Market Area marketing planning (including all channels and activities), strategy creation, budgeting and allocation on MA level
Responsible for Market Area event management and planning of all MA specific events, tradeshows, conferences and customer seminars based on global event guidelines
Accountable for Market Area contribution to global events within MA
Accountable for localization of global marketing content within in MA in all channels including localized websites (based on global decision)
Responsible for MA specific success story and customer case management and providing MA specific content for global channels and newsletters
Responsible for execution and follow-up of segment marketing campaigns within Market Area
Acts as MA business partner within MA towards MA management team and Segment marketing in creating marketing/sales strategy for MA
Responsible for brand enforcement within Market Area
Responsible for local Customer Loyalty (NPS) process, supported by a local process Champion, providing insights, reporting and analytics to support local management in decision making and action planning. Represents MA in global
Customer Loyalty community.
Responsible for supporting/planning launch, go to market planning of new product, SEO, web page creation, marketing automation and digital advertising on MA level
Uses data for insights to manage lead generation and recommend solutions accordingly
Manage, track and report on lead generation results, analyze outcomes in order to recommend solutions to deliver against KPIs on MA level
Acts as a local representative in global marketing team

 

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in the area of marketing, brand management and marketing communications in international global B2B matrix organization
Experience in working in or closely with sales and product management
Ability to be both strategic and tactical. Able to see the big picture, plan and organize effectively, keep track on multiple moving parts and prioritize.
Proficiency in marketing automation tools, and CRM tools (Salesforce)
