International Charitable Foundation «SOS Children’s Villages» is looking for a professional to join the team at the position of Director of fundraising and communications.

Requirements:
University degree in the field of marketing, sales or business administration;
At least 5 years verified experience and results in sales and marketing either in the profit sector in a leading position;
Excellent negotiation skills, experience in negotiations and management of business partners;
Strong people management skills and at least 3‐5 years in leadership and management;
Able to lead, motivate, mentor and manage the fundraising team;
Capable of setting and achieving ambitious and realistic targets;
Able to represent and be professionally comfortable with high-net-worth individuals and SOS national major donors;
Experience and competence in dealing with managing income and expenditure budgets;
A strong result focused orientation combined with a proven competence in strategic planning, budgeting, analysis and evaluation;
Successful relationship- and network building skills with different types of stakeholders at different levels of various organisations, companies, business partners;
Fluent spoken and written English;
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
Efficient in time and resource management;
Self-motivated, innovative and creative, with an entrepreneurial spirit, claiming and demonstrating high professional standards;
Strong motivation to identify with the vision, mission and values of SOS Children’s Villages.
Main responsibilities:
Fundraise from big corporate multinational / local enterprises and foundations by partnership negotiations;
Build and develop long-term partnerships with new corporate donors;
Supervise and lead the national fundraising team;
Defines, implements and fulfils the national fundraising strategy reflected in the business plans;
Develop the annual fundraising business plan and budget;
Plans, evaluates and analyses the fundraising activities according to defined plan and agreed KPIs;
Has own fundraising target and attract resources and donors according to the agreed KPIs;
Works according to globally valid manuals and guidelines and the Fund Development & Communication Department’s planning and reporting procedure;
Build networks, position the SOS Children’s Villages as a strong and consistent brand;
Foster national capacity building in all areas of fundraising;
Aims to strengthen brand awareness, credibility and acceptance with the overall goal to support fundraising activities;
Drive fundraising innovation in all fields of fundraising like products, channels, target groups, database solutions etc.
