Mission within Zynga Blockchain Games is to empower players to invest, own and earn through fun, high-quality and enduring blockchain games they can trust.
Who you are:
You’re passionate about community, you enjoy connecting with users, and you’re excited to lead social growth for Zynga’s first-ever NFT blockchain game. You’re a guru at social media and experienced on platforms like Discord, Twitter and Instagram. You are emotionally resilient and able to think on your feet and remain calm under outfacing social community pressure. Your superpower is building relationships with new users and influencers and ensuring they stay engaged over time.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and oversee social media strategies for Discord, Twitter and Instagram and work cross-functionally with the content and development team on execution
- Grow community channels and keep followers and users highly engaged
- Produce a weekly, monthly calendar on community contests and social media growth strategies
- Work with the art and creative team on social media content and strategize a rollout plan into the community calendar
- Work with Discord and blockchain team to ensure server channels are bulletproof and optimized
- Work closely with OpenSea's Product, Engineering, Community and Communications teams to write and disseminate critical information about feature updates and product launches as well as bug-related issues as they arise
- Assemble, manage and scale moderator and sub-mod strike force and keep them motivated, productive, and focused
- Onboard new users and keep existing users motivated to ensure their continued success as active members of community
- Organize and host events on Discord server on a regular basis
- Keep Twitter and Instagram active and up to date with the latest news, sneak peeks, promotions, and other forms of content designed to keep engagement and retention high
- Maintain and promote insights from community interactions and surface critical issues to all cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in community management
- Passionate about web3, blockchain and NFTs
- Strong command of social media platforms and current knowledge of their roadmaps and strategies, including Discord, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive maximum results
- A proven ability to build and manage a large online global community and audience
- Pro-active and able to show initiative and deliver innovative ideas which constantly improve the global customer experience
- Experience with moderating or managing NFT communities a big plus
- Experience with Web3/decentralized technologies and/or DAOs a big plus
- You like to play video games and have a natural curiosity when exploring new worlds
