Emerging Travel Group is looking for Director of Communications for developing and executing external and internal communications strategy, as well as for leading PR, content and SMM teams. Emerging Travel Group operates four brands (Ostrovok.ru, ZenHotels.com, B2B.Ostrovok.ru, RateHawk.com), each specializing in the booking in 220 countries and territories worldwide.
The key objectives of the role are:
Develop and execute the Group’s external and internal communications strategy
Lead and motivate the teams responsible for the Group’s PR efforts, content marketing, and SMM
Job Responsibilities
Develop, communicate, and oversee the execution of the communications strategy that positions ETG and its brands (Ratehawk, B2B.Ostrovok, Ostrovok, and Zenhotels) as leaders in the global travel sector
Support the Group’s teams (Product, Operations, B2B, Supply, and HR) in their needs for communication and marketing
Conceive, write, and manage content for a variety of mediums, including web, mobile app, and email copy, sales handouts, brochures, articles, whitepapers, blog posts, newsletters, infographics, and accompanying copy, presentations, and social media. Edit content produced by other members of the team
Manage localization efforts for the entire Group, all of its brands, products and communication mediums
Work with the B2B marketing team and B2B regional teams to help them develop local presence and brand awareness
Together with B2B marketing and regional leaders design and execute the content marketing strategy
Manage important brand partnerships; oversee the PR, SMM and Content teams to deliver impactful results that support the global growth strategy
Oversee brand spend vs. budget and ensure resource allocation is adequate
Take care of the online reputation of ETG’s brands together with the relevant service teams
In collaboration with HR and the exec team, oversee the employee-facing communications to continue positioning ETG as an employer-of-choice—and ensuring that our internal communications efforts are world-class.
Support the CEO’s in ETG’s public affairs and government relations plans and activities, and play a vital role in the delivery of work in this area including external relationship management
Provide support and counsel to CEO, senior team and others acting as spokespeople for the organization for events, media, etc.; Act as external spokesperson for ETG when required to
Key Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills. Demonstrable ability to distill complex concepts from many sources into a simple vision that can be understood by a person with a minimal background in the subject matter.
Fluent English. Strong written and verbal skills. Can comfortably present a strategy to foreign partners or investors and respond to questions under pressure.
Top-notch leadership skills. Verifiable proof of reports previously managed successfully evolving into influential leaders who rapidly progress in their careers. Hires, develops, and retains excellent talent. Demonstrable abilities to drive performance by being hands-off or hands-on as needed.

Basic understanding of analytics. Clearly understand how to make data-driven conclusions based on analytics reports
Relevant experience. Ideally, successful communications and brand management experience previously. Ideally, experience with BOTH a big company and a smaller company (e.g., revenue under $30 million). Deep familiarity with key terminology, approaches, and frameworks in both online marketing and brand offline marketing.
