Job Summary

1. Define, manage and direct the needed IT end-to-end PMO work effort, which includes leveraging best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying and tracking the realization of expected benefits defined in business cases.

2. Provide regular visibility on IT project portfolio status (key decisions, dependencies, issues, risks, metrics) on a standard cadence through status reporting and program / work stream reviews.

3. Regularly review and evaluate opportunities to improve the project management best practices in order to achieve higher maturity in PPM.

4. Direct PPMO meetings and present performance updates regularly, and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions to prioritize programs and projects based on company & IT objectives in a dynamic and fast-paced business environment. Manage changing functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies.

5. Generate project status reports providing consistent and integrated views of project data, report on performance metrics for IT Strategic Projects.

6. Collaborate with internal audit & Risk management to drive appropriate IT controls and support them to ensure compliance and accuracy of the established controls.

7. Provide oversight for all IT internal audits observations and Risks findings with the owners in order to address it and close or mitigate it, and provide regular update to concern departments.

8. Perform other responsibilities as required by higher levels of supervision.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the sector through performing own responsibilities and managing direct reports performance.

• Set the department’s goals and objectives and ensure the cascading of such to reporting sections, and guide their achievement.

• Contribute to the development of the sector’s policies, procedures and processes through providing input as advised by the direct supervisor.

• Provide direction and advice to the direct reports in performing their delegated responsibilities.

• Ensure the ongoing development of the department’s employees, and assure the developmental activities of direct reports.

• Oversee the overall performance of direct reports and ensure KPI’s are well communicated and monitored.

• Ensure effective identification, allocation and utilization of the division’s resources

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent from an acc

• A minimum of Seven (7) years of experience in project management experience.

• +5 years leading/managing a PMO

• +8 years management responsibility including managing a team of project management professionals

• +5 years working in Telecom
