About the job
In charge of the development, deployment, and supervision of the Internal Control framework in the company, the Internal
Controller will
Together with the business identify the risks area based on processes and procedures;
Define the controls to be implemented and the gap in controls to be filled;
Train the business operations to fulfill and report the controls;
Ensure adequacy and simplicity of the controls;
Consolidate and report on the fulfillment of the controls;
Advise on risk areas based on Controls fulfillment and results;
Advise on audits to be performed based on controls;
Participate in Compliance / supervisions audits (Sapin 2, etc.) from the Internal Control perspective;
Set the ambition for the internal control framework deployment;
Adapt the internal control best practices to specificities and culture of Leroy Merlin;
Guarantee the improvement of the risk operational situation thanks to the deployment of internal controls.
Scope
Internal Control should cover all activities of HO (to be discussed whether stores are included in this perimeter yet)
Internal Control is covering LM, MaxiPro and all subsidiaries of LM Russia including Kazakhstan.
