About the Role:
As Director Business Excellence you will develop, recommend and deliver initiatives to maximize the impact and efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales, Marketing and other departments. This role is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for mentoring and managing the staff working to deliver an effective service across the business.
You will work closely with CEO and C-level Management team to ensure effective communication and adoption of best practice and processes to enable optimal deployment of resources.
Key Accountabilities:
- You bring operational excellence into the organization and increase the efficiency across several departments by implementing digital solutions and updated business processes
- You maintain and develop the current market position and realize the growth ambitions within chosen products and solutions. You manage teams and managers with a continuous focus on quality and customer satisfaction
- You’ll proactively drive strategically defined initiatives forward. You will deliver on projects which improve and enhance company’s internal operations, tracking milestones and statuses, and escalating issues as needed
- Research, develop and define the strategy to profile, segment and target customers managing the implementation of projects, identifying and communicating best practice and measuring success of approaches
- Run projects to identify optimal and compliant coverage of key business accounts and target customer groups and collaborate with sales management to ensure resources are deployed across the product/country effectively to maximize the impact of the sales teams
- Act as a Change Leader, working with process owners and stakeholders to implement strategic process changes
- Measure the progress of projects under own and area’s responsibility, according to the targets defined (governance), and to propose action plans whenever variations need to be corrected
Skills and attributes for success:
- Strong understanding of business process management, and the various dimensions of different operating models (operational strategy, governance, process, technology, organizational design, performance)
- Strategic thinking and agile mindset coupled with the ability to drive organizational performance, lead change and measure results in term of added value to the business
- Excellent communication, networking skills and business and commercial acumen to navigate and team in a highly matrixed organization requiring complex stakeholder management in order to resolve issues and support the delivery of exceptional service
- Problem solving and conceptual thinking; the ability to synthesize complex information, anticipate obstacles and respond accordingly
- Leadership skills including the ability to proactively coach and develop high performing teams
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive responsibility in operations management/business process management ideally in crypto, financial services or technology sectors
- Proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders
- Experience of working effectively in a cross-cultural environment for multiple stakeholders and audiences
- Delivered effective change and transformation programs, working with the change management function to deliver major business transformations
- Experience in delivering exceptional results in a multinational firm with global reporting relationships, balancing local market needs with global strategy
- Excellent financial management skills, including financial planning and budgeting
- Excellent process efficiency and effectiveness skills
- Ability to provide insights & impact based on data and understanding of data analytics
- University degree or equivalent, further qualification an advantage
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English as well as strong leadership and focus
