В американскую корпорацию Automattic (WordPress, Tumblr) требуется Digital Marketing Manager (WordPress.org).
Company is looking for someone to join team as a Digital Marketing Manager focused on the WordPress open source software project.
An understanding of the dynamics of open source software development and the WordPress ecosystem is preferred.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the digital strategy to enable brand awareness and user and contributor growth. You will lead the execution of all digital, multichannel plans, including optimization of website performance and user and contributor engagement, acquisition, and retention initiatives. You will use metrics to recommend, test, and implement a range of improvements crafted to attract and convert users and contributors. Company is seeking an individual who has a proven record of developing data-based insights and providing recommendations to increase conversion rates across digital platforms, while simultaneously improving the user and contributor experience.
What you’ll do:
- Implement digital marketing strategies and tactics spanning brand, product, and content marketing
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other partners to successfully complete campaigns
- Make recommendations regarding how to most effectively empower users within digital channels, e.g. cadence, frequency, etc.
- Implement the targeting and customer segmentation for digital campaigns
- Develop and performs test plans across all digital channels
- Establish and maintains scalable processes that ensure consistent methodology for email, social channels, paid media, and internal reporting
- Lead campaign performance and analysis; communicate and implement timely optimizations for results
- Support localization and activation process of key campaigns for international geographies
- Collaborate on creative campaign ideas and concepts
- Ability to think strategically and creatively tackle challenges
- Actively partner with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, program marketing, communications, and developer relations to expand the reach and impact of digital activity
- Partner with content marketing to lead search engine optimization for the WordPress.org site and drive knowledge of the best SEO practices across the marketing organization
- Be the subject matter authority for WordPress.org Google Analytics and support reporting requests
- Work on special projects as needed such as brand-level campaigns, new content strategies, and optimization projects, that demonstrate knowledge of company`s system, technology, and digital practices
- Understand and be an authority on user personas and journeys relative to digital and collaborate to ensure relevant content is presented on the site and coordinated into user/contributor journeys
Company’d love to talk with you if you have:
- BA/BS degree in marketing/communications/advertising or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in digital marketing, i.e. 5+ years
- Experience working in the technology industry is preferred
- Shown experience growing a social media following/presence
- Experience using email and social media marketing to drive brand awareness, engagement, generate traffic, and convert visitors into users/contributors
- Excellent collaborator, communicator, and creative problem solver, who improves data-driven insights to advise all decisions
- Project management and organization of timelines, accountability and attention to detail are needed
