About the company and the role:

  • Company is looking for a top-notch Design Director who can bring their expertise to the table. Your main responsibility will be to design product solutions that not only meet user needs but also deliver exceptional results. As the Design Director, you will have the chance to evaluate the effectiveness of products through metrics such as conversions, LTV (Lifetime Value), DAU (Daily Active Users), and MAU (Monthly Active Users)
  • But that's not all. Company is also looking for a natural leader who can effectively manage a team and drive them towards achieving outstanding outcomes. You will have the privilege of leading a team of highly skilled professionals, including a Team Lead and experienced Senior members, all dedicated to crafting exceptional user experiences

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the product design team and fostering a culture of excellence
  • Defining the design strategy and creating a roadmap for product development
  • Leading the research and design processes to enhance the user experience
  • Identifying potential revenue streams through optimizing the user experience
  • Collaborating with product managers and analysts to create and prioritize task backlogs
  • Improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the UX/UI function
  • Engaging with product teams across various countries, including Australia, the United States, Japan, and more

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a UX/UI leader in the mobile B2C product space
  • Strong proficiency in working with product metrics to drive success
  • Demonstrated track record of designing products with measurable results
  • Expertise in conducting user behaviour research
  • In-depth knowledge of platform guidelines for iOS and Android
  • Proficiency in working with CJM (Customer Journey Mapping), JTBD (Jobs-to-be-Done), and design systems
  • Successful experience in leading and managing UX/UI teams (from 15 people)
  • Strong systemic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • English language proficiency at a minimum of C1 level
