Responsibilities:

  • Help with Building Strategic Business Plan for the portfolio of PL Sport (Footwear)
  • Direct and lead Business Plan implementation for the portfolio of PL Sport (Footwear)
  • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts between all Brand product groups (SPORT Apparel/ SPORT Equipment) in order to ensure an aligned Brand positioning and strengthen connection with the consumer target
  • Direct and lead range plan according to brand Visions, develop product lifecycle plans to ensure sustainability and growth of business
  • Brief seasonal concept product and new product introductions. Create storytelling and package them. Ideation & development of new sport technologies
  • Ensure optimal product positioning in the market and best fit to the consumers
  • Lead FTW product creation process from Product Brief, through design phase down to final sample. In-store readiness and overall business viability
  • Review and approve category plans via alignment with Category Management and Planning
  • Ensure analysis of seasonal forecast and sell-through data in order to drive efficient product planning
  • Champion ongoing competitive analysis to anticipate product trends. Communicate changing market dynamics (product trends, consumer insight and retail landscape)
  • Build partnership cross-functionally with Design, Development, Category management, Retail, Planning, Store Managers, Visual Merchandising, Marketing in order to execute category and brand strategy
  • Support the go-to-market process; collaborate specifically with all relevant internal stakeholders (e.g. Sourcing, Retail, Supply Chain, Operations, Apparel/Equipment, Marketing, Board of Management)
  • Represent Footwear Production Department where required in company processes, e.g. product alignment (Apparel/ Equipment), meetings with Category Management, business kick off, etc.
  • Prepare and present the category Plans and Collection during all major Process Milestones
  • Act like a leader within the department, develop the Brand Management SPORT team, assess team members, build trust, identify and retain talents to take team to the next level
  • Create activity report summary of Brand Team activity and participate in creation of overall Footwear report to senior management

 

Requirements:

  • Strong background in the footwear industry with understanding of footwear product creation & product creation process
  • Experience within leading sport brand or leading retail company in adult category management/buying function
  • Excellent product sense, business management and organization skills
  • Ability to identify and assess product opportunities, selling trends, and market growth
  • Minimum 6 years of team leading experience of large teams in complex organizations
  • Excellent Leadership, Good Mentoring abilities
  • Highly communicative, strong presentation skills and passionate about footwear sport industry and sneaker culture
  • Ability to take fast and quality decisions for business impact
  • Excellent Business English, verbal and written
  • Education: Bachelor or above
