Your qualifications – solid and appropriate
• Initiation, development and implementation of regional purchasing strategies that conform to the strategies of the relevant BU in order to achieve the purchasing and business goals, such as «Global Value Sourcing» goals, sourcing reviews, etc.
• Monitoring of the order planning and execution in order to supply the production in-time and to secure sufficient stocks
• Review of material field strategies in order to minimize quality complaints and delivery performance risks
• Conducting contract negotiations, in particular with EU suppliers, on the basis of existing contractual conditions, as well as additional contract volumes or new product groups; Ensuring early integration of purchasing into the technical change process
• Organization of inquiries in order to develop 2nd source suppliers together with quality and engineering
• Implementation of Advanced Negotiation Concepts
• Development of cost optimization potentials based on technical levers, logistical optimization (shipping bundling and packaging costs), as well as bundling for C-parts of UL Locomotive shops with the needs of Siemens AG
• Ensuring that corporate guidelines, circulars, tools and processes are taken into account and used, such as minimum requirements for awarding contracts to suppliers, supplier management, R4B, sourcing review process … in the region
• Quality control of buyers and suppliers with regard to customs documentation, certification documentation and the fulfillment of localization plans
• Comparison of data records in SAP
• Participation in the further development of our eBusiness topics
• Support with regular evaluations
