IKEA is searching for a Data Leader.
What you'll need to have:
- Proven advanced training in information technology, business information management or equivalent;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a data manager;
- Experienced in working with data queries;
- Confident in reviewing code and understanding how things are working;
- Demonstrate experience in working in an Agile or DevOps way of working;
- Preferred: Exposure to large scale package implementations;
- Preferred: Knowledge of Ingka Centres Brand, IKEA culture and values and way of working.
What you'll be doing day to day:
- Use root cause research to identify data process breakdowns and together with data architects and product/platform owners find solutions to the breakdown;
- Responsible for developing standard operating procedures for data handling (CRUD) and archiving, to ensure ongoing accuracy, validity, reuse and efficient storage of available data;
- Educating co-workers and monitoring and improving processes and tools that support the business’s data quality management goals and roadmap. Actively identify and address data quality issues and support co-workers who provide data to do this in a consistent and correct way;
- Support with defining the requirements for first cleaning and optimization of raw data and ensure implementation of these requirements together with data architects and engineers;
- Supporting data analytics and insights by coordinating data acquisition, storage and sharing, ensuring timely delivery and proper organization of relevant data;
- Work across initiatives within Ingka Centres, steering towards efficient and effective use of data;
- Responsible for the implementation of policies and guidelines (e.g. GDPR compliance, BIAs, etc.) for information security management by working in collaboration with internal (e.g. Ingka Group, Ingka Centres) approaches and methodologies which support information security and data privacy policies.
