Vlinder is an Austrian startup, which builds an impact-tech platform for sustainable investing and direct carbon credits purchasing. Now the company is looking for a CTO.
Tasks:
Serve as a member of the leadership team providing expert counsel and guidance on overall technology strategy
Enable market innovation through technology, define the company’s technology strategy and carry it out, set the priority of new products and features
Identify potential strategic technical partners, initiate and maintain relationships with them
Evolve the technical architecture to utilize new low code, open-source, SaaS, blockchain-based technologies
Build a solid core of technical skills
Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation; maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies and advise the leadership team on their impact on the business
Implement a product roadmap
Drive a robust software development life cycle
Ensure the availability and security of the company’s services
Professional qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
3+ years of leading software engineering and product management, preferably with fintech / impact tech / blockchain companies
Strong operational and management skills with a track record of on-time delivery
An innovative and passionate leader able to assess, recruit, develop talent and manage high-performance teams
Well-versed in Agile software development methodologies
Exceptional communication, leadership, and influencing skills
Compensation:
