Fintech company is looking for an CTO.
About company:

- The company was founded in 2011

Team:
- 70 people, with a target of at least 2x growth
- Direct team: 5 Head of units (Development, QA, DevOps, TechSup, SysAdmin)
- Location: Kazan, Saint-Petersburg, and remote/distributed team
- Position level: COO (Board Member) - 1
Responsibilities:
- Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
- Lead and influence technology strategy and design in a fast-paced environment, provide technical leadership, encouraging accountability and innovation
- Define the problem, vision, and solution for the business and cultural change required to drive technology transformation and introduce new processes and procedures to ensure technology change is achieved
- Lead and manage a team of highly experienced technology professionals, incorporating our teams of Developers, Engineers, QA and TechSup
- Identify the right skills, team structure and resources to grow the technology teams
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield a competitive advantage and help other departments use technology profitably
- Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Guide the business on all Technology related matters, able to build cross-functional relationships with distributed technology teams
- Establish governance over technology assets and investments to manage the levels of risk
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience building technical software products; with at least 3 of those years as a manager of an engineering team
- CTO or Senior Technology Leadership experience gained within a FinTech or banks (must)
- Experience in critically reviewing high-level business requirements combined with the ability to formulate and articulate technical strategy across the organization
- A history of scaling tech teams and products with a passion for mentoring your direct reports in both technical achievement and career growth
- Strong experience in leading teams in an agile environment
- Have led a company through growth and/or worked in a scale-up that has overseen rapid growth
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
- Knowledge of foreign languages: English - С1, C2 (must)
