Yandex Search is looking for a Creative Director contribute to the enhancement of technologies at the intersection of search and generative AI.

 

Yandex Search, powered by generative AI, is a powerful tool that helps users quickly find information, products, services, and answers using web data. It understands text, voice, and images, providing results in Russian, English, Kazakh, and Turkish languages.

 

Tasks:

  • Developing and executing the creative strategy for Yandex Search in Turkey and Kazakhstan. You will develop creative ideas, including finding insights for our target audience, analyzing local communication, and formulating messaging hypotheses. You will also oversee the execution of creative concepts across various formats, including 360° national campaigns, digital-only videos, branding projects, special initiatives, and non-standard media formats. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the development of brand positioning, tone of voice, and visual identity. Additionally, you will prepare and conduct presentations on creative strategies and concepts for internal teams, and defend creative concepts
  • Team management and cross-functional collaboration. You will manage and coordinate the work of the internal creative team, freelancers, agencies, and production teams. Additionally, you will oversee a multidisciplinary creative team, including copywriters, art directors, designers, and other specialists. Finally, you will develop and nurture the team’s creative potential, acting as a leader, mentor, and strategic partner, providing guidance, motivation, project prioritization, and clear focus areas

 

Requirements:

  • Have 5+ years of experience working for creative ad agencies with an impressive portfolio to showcase your work
  • Have worked on shoots, innovative formats, and digital-first formats
  • Think at both a high-level and detail-oriented scale, adapting for social media while staying creative, engaging, and on-brand
  • Are proficient in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other industry-standard design tools
  • Have a strategic mindset
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and anticipate future developments
  • Can connect with people, articulate your ideas clearly, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team

 

It'd be a plus if you:

  • Have experience working on special projects with multiple components, including a variety of communication channels
