The company is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Country Manager to oversee the operations in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive the growth of our ride-hailing vertical.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement business-growth strategies and operational plans in alignment with the company's global objectives
- Constantly monitor changes in government regulation, market trends, and customer satisfaction, and adjust business strategies accordingly
- Ensure quality control of the application in the field, including overseeing performance metrics and implementing improvements to enhance the user experience
- Drive the development of the country and the launch of new cities, ensuring alignment with global strategies and priorities
- Manage and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching and guidance to ensure team members are motivated, engaged, and aligned with business objectives
- Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management, providing insight into the performance of the business in India
Expectations from you:
- A Master's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field would be an advantage
- Experience in ride-hailing/taxi app services, marketplace, or high-technology companies
- Proven experience in business development and marketing, including identifying growth opportunities and project management for changes
- Strong analytical skills, including business metrics analysis, marketing data analysis, financial modeling, and understanding of legal risks
- Knowledge of mobile app digital metrics, Google Sheets/Excel advanced user
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of local market trends and regulations
