А big natural resources company in Energy sector is looking for a Country Manager Russia.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the Company in-country teams and establish a strong values-based culture.
Initiate, build and maintain key relationships with in-country stakeholders and federal, provincial and local government bodies associated with securing and developing Company energy target sites.
Lead all aspects of the regional Company portfolio which can include wind, solar, tidal, hydroelectric and/or geothermal energy projects, and power purchase agreements (PPAs).
Ensure Company adheres to all regional laws, regulations and cultural guidelines.
Identify opportunities and implement initiatives to develop the Company brand in-country.
Establish planning and implementation of a country engagement strategy.
Manage project targets through feasibility, design, approval and delivery phases.
Maximise performance across the team and develop and coach staff to encourage further growth opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships and frequent communication with stakeholders including Company’s employees, HQ.
Executive Team, Consultants, and Service Providers.
Support the Company technical teams by engaging required consultants and Subject Matter Experts to ensure best practice and utilisation of world leading technologies.
Plan, forecast and manage the Company in-country budget.
Prepare Board reporting as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or a related field.
Post-graduate degree: MBA, MPA, MEng will be highly regarded.
Project Management experience, in large scale, complex project delivery in developing country
Experience in the renewable energy value chain, to include power source and transmission.
Former executive experience in at least one of the following sectors: Renewable energy, construction, infrastructure, mining oil and gas fields.
Prior experience in the target country or country within the region
Understanding of key project phases. From prefeasibility and feasibly to design, financial investment decision, construction and commissioning.
Sensitivity to different cultural norms.
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Understanding of project management.
Fluent spoken and written English language skills as well as local languages.
Strong computer literacy skills.
