В многопрофильную международную инвестиционную группу Finstar Financial Group требуется Country Manager (Kazakstan).

 

Company`s goal is to provide consumer lending to near prime customers by leveraging cutting edge technologies. Paylater was founded by the team of likeminded professionals who had previously launched lending businesses in several countries in EU, Russia and APAC. Currently Paylater operates in Russia and Uzbekistan and is planning to start its operations in Kazakstan providing variety of lending solutions for the customers, including but not limited to instalment card, POS loans, salary advance and cash loans.

 

About the role:
As company is starting from the scratch you will get a chance to go though all the steps of company entering the market. It will require market research and choose a product with the best market fit and team hiring.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Full P&L responsibility
  • Own and execute the growth plan for the Country and recruit and build the necessary team to achieve this objective
  • Design and improve the efficiency of processes within the Company
  • Coordinate the development of IT systems including the infrastructure and technology
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the marketing strategy within the business
  • Drive launch of new credit solutions to the market
  • Provide periodic market research and reporting to group management
  • Represent the company and develop relationships with third parties and key Partners for the business including the relevant country regulatory bodies
  • Recruit, develop and manage a fully effective team of people to further growth of the business in the country

 

Experience:

  • Deep knowledge of international business principles
  • Experience in banking or consumer lending in Kazakstan
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines according to the HQ framework
  • Demonstrate ability to combine strategic thinking with effective tactical execution
  • University degree in Economics or Business Administration; MBA degree would be a plus
  • At least 5 years of successful management experience preferably in lending, consumer finance or digital finance
  • A self-motivated leader with a real passion to grow the business and succeed
  • Commercially focused, results driven, with a strong track record of leading and developing a business
  • Excellent understanding of financial reports and statements
  • Proven ability to recruit, train, develop, manage, lead and measure productivity of teams
  • Fluent English and Kazakh is a must and any other relevant language is preferred but not a prerequisite

  • Must have strong managerial experience
  • Must have a strong work ethic, integrity and total honesty (transparency and trust)
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and decision-making skills
  • Able to work across business lines at senior levels to influence and effect change to achieve common goals
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to effectively drive people, process and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment
  • Able to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff

 

Conditions:

  • Location: Remote work or office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan
  • Reporting Line: Regional manager
