В AliExpress Россия ищут Corporate Legal Counsel.
What you'll be doing:
- Counseling on a broad range of varios legal matters, including corporate law, procurement contracts, consumer law, employment law, corporate support of group legal entities in various jurisdictions with the local external advisors
- Conducting legal research on corporate related issues
- Managing external counsel on e-commerce consumer litigation matters, corporate support of foreign group legal entities
- Organizing Shareholders / Board of Directors meetings, preparation of the minutes and other related documents (with the help of external advisors for foreign group entities)
- Supporting the HR team on employment law matters
- Supporting the team on communication with state authorities on above matters
- Cooperation with Fin team on Legal department budget
- Proactive solutions and suggestions to further improve the functioning of Legal and other departments
- Assistance in implementation of legal tech solutions
What skills you'll need:
- 3-6 years of experience practicing Russian corporate, employment and contract laws and experience of corporate maintenance of foreign group legal entities. Experience in e-commerce or a law firm is a plus
- Russian language proficiency essential. English language proficiency, including strong legal English. Legal drafting in English is a must
- Open-mindedness and tolerance, high ethical standards and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; business judgment, with the ability to think strategically and give practical advice to internal clients and business teams
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills, high level of communication, strong social skills; high energy and the ability to interface with, and gain the respect of, stakeholders at all levels
- Be prepared when needed to give advice that is urgent, be ready to grow out of your comfort zone and outperform in a start-up culture
- Ability to work independently and to multi-task in ambiguous and fast-paced work environment.
