European retailer with a number of stores in Russia, expanding and driving E-com further – is looking for COO for the Russian entity.
Areas of responsibility: Supply Chain, Logistics, Customs, Digital, IT, E-commerce
Target setting of the job:
Strategic and organisational orientation and structuring of the Administrative, Supply Chain Management and IT of the national company in Russia;
Management of the decentralized departments of the country;
Coordination, implementation and further development of all relevant processes and structures in close cooperation with the international board and the managing director
Essential functions of the job:
Management and strategic control of Supply Chain Management, IT/Digital of the national company in close and trustful cooperation with the international board and the managing director;
Innovative and continuous further development of the company’s operational strategy and definition of sales and growth targets;
Derivation and implementation of measures to increase market share and increase sales and earnings;
Critical analysis of existing structures and processes as well as successful implementation of existing optimization aproaches to create common synergies;
Development of analyses and business cases for strategy planning and for optimizing the operational business of the country;
Management sparring partner with regard to key decisions and projects, participation and implementation of corporate strategy;
Cooperative and appreciative as well as result-orientated employee management and development.
Requirements of the job holder:
Successfully completed business ad-ministration studies with at least a focus on IT and /or Supply Chain Management or comparable qualification;
Relevant professional and management experience in comparable positions in international retail companies. Experience in dealing with compliance issues desirable;
Innovation and courage to go innovative and profitable ways in a dynamic environment with passion and focus;
Seasoned personality with hands-on mentality and a high degree of assertiveness and negotiating skills;
Fluency in spoken and written Russian and English.
