ViacomCBS (Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., MTV, Paramount Comedy) is looking for a Consumer Products Licensing Manager (sales & development).
Job summary:
- СP Licensing Manager is responsible for managing ViacomCBS franchise portfolio in Russia, CIS, Ukraine and Baltics, and building a sustainable consumer products business that achieves and exceeds annual revenue targets;
- As part of the International Consumer Products team, CP Licensing Manager will be responsible for establishing a strategy and growing the CP business in line with Global strategies and guidelines while leveraging a strong knowledge of the local markets' individual needs and opportunities.
What you will do:
- Plan, develop and implement strategies with at least 70% of the focus on new business opportunities;
- Achieve & exceed RCIS, Ukraine & Baltics CP Revenue targets;
- Proactively seek key partners to build new business both through a license and / or promotion;
- Work closely with assigned licensees to develop the business and maximize sales;
- Help identify gaps in category/licensee portfolios and proactively address it to the clients;
- Unlock CP portfolio capabilities across the organization;
- Quickly develop expertise in each of the relevant licensed categories and act as the resource for these categories. This includes developing a thorough understanding of the product line, the market, competitors, and all capabilities of the licensee;
- Jointly with Marketing & Retail manager develop tactics to maximize category and licensee opportunities, conduct regular meetings to ascertain retail listings and ensure all potential areas for development are taken for action;
- Work closely with licensee and in-house Creative team on new product development/style guide interpretation;
- Share in-market/property/broadcast updates with licensees to ensure all sales opportunities are maximized;
- Provide regular update on the status of new business development;
- Review forecasts with licensees on a quarterly basis;
- Deliver best in class, day-to-day communication with licensees;
- Partner with global CP to develop global product launches on the territory.
Role-specific skills / attributes:
- Experience of working in FMCG/Retail/Entertainment/Media sales industries preferable;
- Previous licensing experience preferable but not required;
- Strong sales and business development skills;
- Strong written and oral communication skills – ability to liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders, including external parties and senior stakeholders;
- Strong project management and multitasking skills;
- Experience in working in a fast paced and high-pressure environment;
- Positive & creative thinker that can assess & take calculated risks;
- Ability to see big picture, work under pressure while meeting budgets and deadlines;
- Confident self-starter, tenacious and persistent;
- Fluent English language;
- A willingness to go the extra mile.
