Brown-Forman Russia is part of the international company Brown – Forman Corporation, the leader in the imported premium vodka and a significant player in Standard+ whiskey segment in Russia. Company offers such brands as: JACK DANIEL’S, FINLANDIA VODKA, WOODFORD RESERVE as well as a portfolio of Single Malts and premium tequilas.

 

Meaningful Work From Day One:
The role is designed to be a true finance business partner to commercial functions, providing strategic commercial support to the business and continuously driving commercial acumen of the organization whilst leading a talented team of five direct reports. The jobholder will be instrumental to secure mid-term commercial sustainability of business decisions and driving business value creation, actively contributing to the development and implementation of revenue growth strategies, resource allocation and spend effectiveness. Role also expects an active involvement in all aspects of marketing and sales helping our business partners to continuously sharpen commercial elements of brand development and activation, route to consumer management and co-creation of world-class insights and foresights about our brands and customers. What You Can Expect:

  • Partner various senior business stakeholders, providing a financial lens for every aspect of commercial decision making, playing a key role in driving performance against strategic and tactical initiatives
  • Play a key role in defining the long-term strategy and translating this into the short, medium and long term financial and non-financial targets and KPIs
  • Drive improved understanding of business performance
  • Create insightful, business critical analysis and recommendations on performance and growth plans
  • Support the business on pricing strategies, margin & discount structures, tender processes, negotiations with trade partners
  • Deliver insightful analysis on sales and marketing activities, including discounts, advertising and promotions and effectiveness of our sales coverage and campaigns
  • Lead and coach a team of commercial business partners
  • Lead the team to interpret and analyze financial performance and offer recommendations on how to drive increased value using your influencing skills
  • Own cross-functional finance development initiatives, for example the Finance for Non-Finance or relationships with external bodies

 

What You Bring to the Table:

  • University Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related area
  • Working experience in-depth finance business partnering experience, having supported senior commercial stakeholders
  • Experience of working in a product led sector involving a fast moving supply chain, i.e., FMCG, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or similar
  • Proven track record of achievements in the areas of value creation, brand/product lifecycle management, business simplification and talent development
  • Highly impressive business partnering, communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven experience with people leadership and talent development as well as ability to engage and inspire the team and wider organization in BF Russia and beyond
  • High proficiency in PC skills and detailed knowledge of Google Apps and Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint
