Job Description Summary:
Commercial Director, Russia, is responsible for managing the overall sales effort supporting the business in the designated region to ensure attainment of growth targets. Reporting to the Zone General Manager RCIS, the Commercial Director Russia will be responsible to implement the commercial strategy in the region, to control and coordinate all the sales activity, and to put in place the right actions to achieve the sales targets defined.
Essential responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to solicit new business and / or retain and penetrate existing business to drive growth. Lead the development of sales opportunities and coordinate with the business sales support groups, to maximize opportunities in the region
- Develop and execute on growth plans while meeting short term business objectives. Drive key activities, including prospecting, strategy planning, executive relationship development, discovery assessment, GEHC ecosystem coordination
- Support strategic imperatives and initiatives in order to ensure the fulfillment of business requirements and to optimize business performance
- Management & development productive relationships with decision makers, government and administrative representatives, professional communities’ leaders to better understanding customer needs
- Support Go to Market tools deployment to drive process simplification and improved SFDC
- Managing & nurturing relations with KOLs. Gov’t & administration representatives, professional societies to deepen understanding of customer challenges and needs
- Participate and Lead in Operating Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews and staffing meetings and functions
- Leading sales team, which may include several account managers, regional sales managers, executive account managers
Basic Qualifications:
- MBA or Master’s Degree (preferably in technical, medical, or bioengineering field)
- Experienced in Business Management or Sales/Marketing or equivalent in progressive leadership
- Very experienced in closing large, complex, strategic deals
- Demonstrated business management and resource allocation skills including business plan development
- Deep knowledge of GEHC care area solutions and the products and services offered
- Experience working in the Healthcare industry including interaction with hospital administration (i.e. account management, relationship-building experience)
- Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching & team building skills
- Strong business acumen; financial and organizational skills
- Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills
- High level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships
- Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration and influence, at all levels within the organization. Act as inspirational leader with optimism, highly approachable and humble
