An American global manufacturer of confectionery, pet food, and other food products Mars is looking for Russia Commercial Director in Royal Canin business segment.
The role:
Royal Canin materials are mostly specialty materials, which require the commercial team to be very versatile in Commercial skills, technical skills as well as versed influence and leadership capacity.
Grow the team and engage internal and external stakeholders to deliver Commercial Excellence. Identify the key issues and their drivers, keep team and resources focused on the real priorities and drive resolution. Lead critical projects in person and deliver results on time and with high quality.
You will do:
Grow the team via engaging and motivating the team, as well as coaching, support other regional teams
Identify new suppliers and develop new materials to fit for Royal Canin needs in term of nutritional profile, product performance, quality and food safety and price.
Drive supplier enabled innovation
Optimize supply portfolio to ensure ongoing best performance of supply security, quality, cost, innovation and sustainability.
Adapt contracts and coordinate flow (together with factory) according to production forecast, to ensure non-shortage in factory and optimized flow management.
Ensure compliance to SQA standards.
Translate Global SQA strategies into local SQA strategies and action plan.
New sourcing development
Supplier localization
Transport distance optimization
Budget preparation and close monitoring, payment terms control and continuous improvement
We are expecting:
Bachelor’s degree or above in technology or business.
Petfood experience would be highly preferred.
At least 10 years’ experience in the domains of purchasing, new material sourcing and supplier quality assurance.
Minimum 5 years team lead experience.
Experience of project management, action plan development and follow through with the suppliers and internal resources.
Fluent in English and no barrier in international communication.
Skillful in Strategic Sourcing Strategy development.
Understanding of SQA basics, standards, and way of working.
