В универмаг украшений Poison Drop требуется Chief Technology Officer.
Poison Drop is a multi-brand omni-channel international jewelry department store with a popular website, mobile app, and stores in top shopping malls. The leading fashion houses of Europe, America and modern domestic designers cooperate with company.
Your outcomes will be:
As the CTO, you are responsible for Software Engineering, Infrastructure and Internal Systems to build the digital and mobile products, you will further develop the technology strategy and lead the engineering team. Your responsibilities include:
- Strive for competitive advantage for the business by identifying and implementing new technologies and trends
- Design and develop a tech strategy and system architecture derived from the existing business strategy in line with the defined business objectives
- Own the technology roadmap and deliver the next generation of the product platform
- Ensure functionality, stability and efficiency of the current applications and system infrastructure
- Maintain and develop internal systems, transforming them into international experience
- Foster engineering culture based on agile values and technical excellence in international context
- Responsibility and control of KPIs, SLAs and IT budgets for planning and evaluation of IT performance
- Management of critical legacy systems and planning related to modernization or replacement
- People management, leading the team, to grow and improve team’s skills
- Have a business judgment mindset, make technology function supporting and helping business to increase efficiency, but not to stop development
Your first objectives will be:
- Make a review of a security process and technology, identify critical points, assess risks, resolve issues with delineation of access
- Assessing and optimizing the use of resources to achieve business objectives (allocating tasks between inhouse development and the outstaff, engaging the outstaff)
- Organize system support for users with a guaranteed SLA during working hours
- Identify key success indicators / metrics for the technical team - downtime, load time, number of errors
- Define the team structure, identify team leaders, remove some of the tasks related to operational management
- Develop a long-term plan for technology development at systems interoperability level
- Prioritize IT projects
Requirements:
- Several years (5+) of experience as a successful executive with overall technological responsibility in a company where digitization and technology are drivers for the success of the business
- Customer-centric mindset, an instinct for the needs of a modern user experience
- Strong, winning personality and excellent communication skills in any situation – English and Russian
- Hands-on mentality, can-do attitude, team player, team leader, pragmatism & entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems, IT technologies and infrastructures
- Excellent interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to be effective in an ever changing environment
- Easy-going personality, high tolerance to cultural differences
- Willingness to develop and manage the team, be an opinion leader
