iCharge point is a Dubai- based early-stage power bank rental/sharing start-up providing services in the UAE.
What is this position:
- The CTO will be responsible for gradually moving from outsourced development to full-scale in–house development operations, which will include building a road map considering corporate goals and strategies, hiring, onboarding, training, and management of talent
- CTO will act as a public face of the tech department represent the company at conferences and other events, investor meetings, and media events
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a software architecture
- Select a technology stack
- Design and configure infrastructure
- Design and implement a database design
- Improve and optimize the application architecture
- Ensure scalability of the application
- Ensure scalability of the infrastructure
- Fill the gaps with your skill and time
Requirements:
- Significant experience (not less than five years) in software architecture and personally building digital products from early-stage through to scaling and maturity
- Full-stack technical expertise
- You've managed, mentored, and inspired a small team of engineers providing architectural guidance, code reviews, etc.
- Deep knowledge of full-stack modern development practices (ex: DevOps, APIs)
- Experience in project management to ensure timely deliverables
- CTO is a practical engineer that should be ready to build the digital product architecture
- Computer science degree (at least a bachelor's)
- Negotiation skills
- Creativity and trouble solving skills
