Оne of the largest and most successful game developer companies MyTona is currently recruiting a Chief Technology Officer.
Roles And Responsibilities
Development and implementation of the Company’s technological development strategy in accordance with the Company’s business objectives;
Finding and implementing the latest technologies in the game development industry to maintain the Company’s competitive advantage;
Ensuring efficient, safe and financially sound deployment and use of technologies;
Development and implementation of the Company’s technical standards and product development processes;
Prompt decision-making in accordance with the Company’s technological requirements and regular management of all development processes;
Represent the technological agenda in C-level meetings and when making hiring decisions
Participation in the process of selecting software products, tools, suppliers, partners for the effective operation of the Company and project development;
Monitoring of the Company’s processes to ensure efficient and functional operation;
Building a product quality assessment and data protection system
Supervising the development of the Company’s own IT tools, web-sites, etc.
Monitoring of project financial indicators to assess the effectiveness of development processes;
development and implementation of the Company’s projects development plans;
Analysis of possible risks, change of project plan or implementation of non-planned changes
Monitor the implementation of the project development plan in accordance with the established deadlines and budget;
Managing quality control and data protection processes
Ensuring professional development of the related teams;
working closely with the Company’s entire team and directors to improve the Company’s gaming and product development processes.
Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
Build quality assurance and data protection processes
Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
Use C-level Officers feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
Requirements
Higher education;
Leader’s and Manager’s role experience for at least 6 years;
experience in the gaming industry for at least 12 years — in a role closely related to the CTO function;
Understanding the principles and processes of developing mobile games and project management methods;
Strategic and analytical thinking, responsibility, stress tolerance, perseverance, loyalty;
Experience in building an effective and motivated team, mentoring;
Knowledge of technology trends in the mobile gaming industry
Understanding project budgeting and business planning processes
excellent communication skills;
Devotion to developing mobile games.
Required Knowlegde And Skills
Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English,
Upper-Intermediate or higher level of the Russian language — for effective communication with a development partner in Russia and part of the team in Singapore.
Windows operating systems, MacOS;
Google’s business products at the advanced user level;
Software complexes operating and implemented in the Company shall be able to use software complexes for communication: Slack, Wrike
Knowledge of programming languages: C/C + +, C #, Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift
Knowledge of GIT, SVN version control systems
Experience with Visual Studio, XCode, Android Studio, Unity, Unreal Engine
Experience in consoles: App Store Connect, Google Play Console, Windows Partner Center
Experience with services: AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
