В компанию-разработчик игр Fobula Games ищут Chief Technology Officer (Co-Founder).
Job Scope:
Becoming the Tech Lead of Fobula means building your own team of programmers and completely being in charge of tech development for games.
Company is currently crafting an action survival title for PC & consoles with Unity URP (2020.3).
As a co-founder your personal responsibilities will include:
- Becoming the go-to person for communicating the tech vision by maintaining visual documentation
- Advising your partners on tech-related risks and methods for risk mitigation and handling
- Becoming the champion of your own vision by forming and mentoring a dedicated, core team of excellent game programmers
- Leading with values, creating a pleasant and productive environment
- Contributing to Fobula’s long term business strategies and cultural initiatives
As the lead programmer your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the test-driven development for pc & console titles (Unity, C#)
- Creating and implementing high-level software design methods and architectural patterns for games
- Learning and applying best engineering practices to video games
- Managing all game programming elements such as mechanics, systems, physics, UI, APIs, localization
- Developing methods to evaluate the performance and stability metrics
- Developing tools to get excellent analytics from players, guiding our development
- Educating the team about the best practices and hard-learned experiences
- Working with multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams of people and integrating their work into games
What company requires (non-technical):
- Pleasant personality more than killer technical skills. Company needs to be able to work happily with you. Company cannot find an alternative for that, but they can always get external technical help
- Kind and courteous people. A happy workspace is essential for performing highly creative work. That starts with happy people
- Love playing games. Love for playing games leads to an excellent understanding of game mechanics. Company would like to be able to reference key elements from popular PC & console titles
- English communication skills. Professional language and documentation are completely English
What company requires (technical):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences/engineering
- At least 5 years of experience as a Unity developer
- You should be able to accurately estimate workloads and costs for tasks
- You should have an excellent understanding of high-level engineering concepts such as architecture, maintainability, patterns, high-level design, optimization
What company doesn’t require:
- Turkish citizenship (but living within UTC+1 to UTC+5 is useful)
Compensation and Benefits:
- Permanent remote working (will provide the necessary tools)
- USD Salary ($24.000 – $36.000 per annum, depending on skills and experience)
