About the project:
The vision of HUAWEI cloud game project is to build a cloud game platform with the best experience in the industry. Cloud gaming is a cloud-computing-based approach: all games run on the server. The game image will be compressed and then transmitted to the terminal display over the network. On the client’s side device doesn't require any high-end processors or graphics cards, just basic video-decoding capabilities. Company is trying to provide high quality of the game image, low latency, installation-free and zero-waiting software. Another direction of team project is metaverse research work. Company wants to build own metaverse with augmented and virtual reality, and now they are starting to explore this field.
Company has 4 research directions in its team:
- Network optimization (transmission speed up, use of UDP/TCP for maximum benefit)
- Audio/Video compression (Optimization the codec algorithm, such as H.264, H.265)
- AI solution
- GPU virtualization (CPU or memory virtualization development and optimization, CUDA use or optimization)
As a CTO you will have the following responsibilities:
- Building a project development strategy to achieve business goals
- Define and implement the technological stack of the project, identify and implement modern and popular technologies
- Coordination of the project development strategy with the head office
- Organization of team work: formation of staff, training, setting of tasks and control of their implementation
- Implementation of project management methodologies
Qualifications:
- Master or Ph.D. degree in a field such as Computer Science or related quantitative field
- 5+ years professional experience as an team leader/CTO in IT company
- Experience leading and managing a large algorithm and software development teams (20+ person teams)
- Communication and leadership experience, with experience initiating and driving projects
- Ability to communicate across a diverse cross-functional organization
Will be a bonus：
