The leading European e-commerce company selling auto parts and related products Colwen Hotels has opened its doors for a Chief People Officer.
We expect our perfect candidate to
Review, implement and execute the HR strategy and business plan as a hands-on operational leader, including setting clear goals, prioritizing work, making decisions, and ensuring accountability for all global teams
Act as an employee champion and change agent by anticipating HR-related needs and delivering value added services for the benefit of the employees
Supervise, form, and lead the HR team — about 100 people all over the world (We’re able to hire team members across the globe. Part of your role will involve discovering approaches that help us hire team members in as many locations around the world as possible)
Partner with management to address day-to-day HR operational issues such as employee relations, compensation reviews, escalated benefits issues, performance management and training
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation to ensure regulatory compliance. Identifies trends that could impact the organization objectives
Implement a global program for evaluating performance and providing feedback
Provide insightful crisis management advice when required
Identify and measure organizational KPIs and OKRs for the People Division
Qualifications
The CPO is HR’s leader and chief strategist, contributing input on corporate decisions about growth and organizational design. The role is regarded as the highest possible HR / People position and will require such experience, skills and knowledge.
Minimum 15 years’ experience in HR area
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a People Success Executive position(s) or an HR Executive position
Experience working across Europe
Must have a strategic as well as an innovative mindset
Excellent organizational skills, time management, and priority setting
Deadline oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
A forward-thinking technologist who understand how to use data and technology to drive productivity and forecast workforce trends
Deep knowledge of HR process and metrics
Feel respected within the C-suite: CPOs may find it challenging to be seen as “equals” amongst more traditional executive roles like COOs, CTOs, and CFOs
Fluent in English and Russian, German language is an advantage
MBA is a big advantage
Are authorized to work in Europe (will be a plus)
