A fast-growing neobank and banking as-a-service (BaaS) platform (Finstar Financial Group) is interested in a candidate for COO role.

 

Company created a unique payment solution that combines B2C and B2B2C services to offer the best from both worlds. The successful individual will be responsible for the optimization and delivery of all products, services, and payment operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies
  • Lead, inspire and drive high performance across an organization comprised of 30+operations employees, to ensure flawless onboarding, product / services delivery, execution and management of payments to all partners and customers
  • Lead and design the client lifecycle including client onboarding, compliance, reconciliations, client application service and support
  • Set, review and maintain the highest levels of excellence across each of the core areas of accountability
  • Measure effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally find ways to improve processes
  • Act as a liaison between company and client for quality assurance
  • Track and manage the performance of the operations organization
  • Select and communicate clear measurements that are relevant to overall performance and an ambitious transformation agenda. Use data to determine go-forward strategies for success and to influence behavior and action across the organization
  • Develop and implement an integrated strategy with the commercial team on solution design implementation for clients and internal audit team
  • Attract, develop, inspire and motivate talent and teams to surpass organizational and commercial sales goals

 

Requirements:

  • 7 + years at a senior executive role in the payments\fintech or related industries, having led transformative operations multiple geographies
  • Strong background and understanding on current and emerging payment technologies, risk and governance in the payments lifecycle
  • Commercially focused and pragmatic with superior strategic thinking and excellent ability to identify opportunities and define solutions
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven track record of achieving results in operationalizing the management of P&L and robust financial results
  • Problem solving and analytical / decision-making skills
  • Fluent English is a must
