Private investment group Finstar Financial Group is looking for a Chief Information Officer who will take responsibility for IT organization in HQ and country offices, ensure achievement of established business goals, quality targets and financial budgets.
Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for IT organization in HQ and country offices, ensure achievement of established business goals, quality targets and financial budgets;
IT delivery management in development and operations field, facilitate communication between staff, management, vendors, and other technology resources within the organization;
Efficient planning and reporting to expand or optimize IT resources;
Development and execution of vendor and partner strategies to achieve organizational objectives and cost efficiencies, review and negotiations of global and country level IT contracts in coordination with relevant verticals within organization;
Develop strategy for IT platforms optimization and possible migration, develop plan to achieve defined strategy and execute on development and deployments plans;
Optimize strategic and tactical planning for IT systems utilization, development, ongoing evaluation and coordination of various systems within organization;
Keep up-to-date with latest technology, identify innovative and cost efficient technology solutions, develop integration plans and ensure timely delivery and execution;
Recruitment and engagement of IT teams;
Coordination of financial and other management information systems integration and stability;
IT support to facilitate fundraising, marketing & communications activities;
Participation in development of IT policies, processes and procedures, according to the best practices to ensure their effective deployment within the organization;
Develop, communicate and maintain a clear vision of IT department strategy that will suit the Companies’ overall declared goals and maximize short and long-term value.
Experience:
At least 7-10 years of working experience in relevant IT management positions;
Knowledge of best practices in technology and IT management areas as well as wide practical experience of their adaptation and implementation;
Higher education in technical or mathematical sciences;
Experience within the financial services industry (banking, lending, insurance) is preferred;
Experience within large-scale international digital / e-commerce / IT development companies would also be considered as strong contribution;
Proven ability to multi-task and (re-)prioritize in a fast-moving environment;
Stress resistant, ambitious, self-motivated, organized;
International work experience is a plus;
Fluent spoken and written English language is a must.
