Responsibilities:
Responsible for all finance and control activities, external reporting to both shareholders.
Directs business performance of the Joint Venture (JV) by providing services in the area of financial planning, accounting, controlling, reporting, performance management, tax, investor relations, treasury, and mergers and acquisitions.
Contributes to strategy formulation and works with senior business stakeholders to translate strategic initiatives into organizational targets.
Ensures performance tracking, focuses execution against strategic and financial objectives.
Assesses the level of operational and strategic risk within the organization; proactively mitigates risks and optimizes opportunities.
Develops productive relationships with executive internal / external stakeholders and high-level authorities.
Leads and coaches direct report(s) — Chief Accountant, Project controllers to achieve business targets.
Requirements:
Education: Graduate in Economics/ Finance accounting or Graduate in other fields with postgraduate studies MBA, Chartered Accountants.
Knowledge of foreign languages: Russian and English are mandatory.
Required skills & knowledge: Deep understanding of Accounting and Tax IFRS and ideally Russian GAAP. Good grasp on consolidation , as well as financing operations.
Experience in dealing with Shared Accounting Services, Auditors, Financial Institutions and Tax Auditors.
Management experience; dealing with ambiguity, adaptability speed and pragmatism, can develop relevant and creative solutions to meet current and evolving business needs
Desired professional experience: Requires >8 years extensive relevant experience and a graduate / postgraduate equivalent degree.
