The International Investment Bank is seeking a Chief Economist.
Key responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly management reporting of the Bank;
Financial planning (PL, BS), budget execution analysis, data consolidation;
Conduction of complex analysis of financial and operational activities;
Preparation of analytical data for the calculation of Bank’s KPI, rating agencies and external requests;
Preparation and control of all reporting forms, analytical materials, presentation for the Bank’s Management, revision committee and external users, argumentation of estimated financial and economic indicators;
Performing of indicators’ calculation upon internal requests of bank’s divisions;
Development and improvement of management indicators, in-depth analysis of management data, participation in management reporting automation.
Job requirements:
University degree in economics, finance;
Additional professional certificates (ACCA, CFA, CIMA etc.) will be an advantage;
Working experience in banking-finance sphere in the related function at least 2 years;
Experience in preparing of management reporting;
Experience in audit of BIF4 – desired;
Work experience in international organizations and/or international banks and/or development banks and/or commercial banks, including IIB member states and/or a relevant position in dedicated governmental bodies in the Bank’s member states – desired;
Principals and methods knowledge of planning and budgeting in credit organizations;
Knowledge of indicators’ calculation methods in management reporting;
Knowledge of accounting and IFRS;
Skills of budgeting / forecasting of credit organizations, plan/fact analysis;
Skills in preparation of management reporting, including graphic and analytical illustrations, presentations;
Strong analytical skills;
Ability to work in multitasking environment;
Advanced PC user (Excel, Power Point – advanced user; Flextera BI, Business Object – is additional advantage);
Fluency in English;
Proficiency in Russian, Hungarian and/or other foreign language of the Bank’s member states — considered as advantage.
