А retail conglomerate is actively looking for a Chief Digital Officer to drive Eren Retail’s (Lacoste, Gant, Superstep, etc.) digital operations in Russia and Eastern Europe.

 

This position primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s digital operations in several markets. The ideal candidate will be a professional with a passion for innovation, a digital expert with relevant experience and a team leader with highly effective communication skills. The position will report to the CEO of International Operations.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:
· Define and develop strategy for the international e-commerce and omni channel business in order to achieve sales objectives and EBITDA targets, whilst building brand integrity
· Lead the end to end e-commerce strategy ; digital marketing strategy, merchandising , content management, business development, creatives with the team.
· Make sure that we have proper back-end, front-end, CRM and omni-channel infrastructures in place a for a seamless digital business operations in all countries related. (Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine)
· Maximising the sales and profit potential of the digital sales channels through commercial understanding of product, customers, and our internal capabilities, whilst maintaining and enhancing the brand image and overall customer experience
Ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices between partners and colleagues in all covered countries and with HQ team to help embed a robust digital ecosystem
Measure ROI on digital projects, fine-tuning approaches as needed to ensure we’re investing in the right tools and resources
Establish the proper relationships with technology partners / service providers to ensure smooth on time management of the projects with high quality service.
· Work with multi-departmental / international project stakeholders to define the scope, deliverables and requirements of digital projects resulting in detailed work plans.
Determine and communicate the resources (time, budget, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.
· Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
· Facilitate the execution of the projects according to the project plan.
Develop forms and records to document project activities, keeping all stakeholders updated.
· Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets organizational standards.
· Monitor project budget and track project costs; report project cost variances to project stakeholders on a regular basis.
· Conduct formal project closure processes and communicate lessons learned to project stakeholders.
· Plan and enforce the execution of marketing and promotional calendar, driving sales and margin, improving average transaction size and order frequency
· Closely collaborate with merchandising , logistics and retail teams to support the development of digital/omni- channels.

 

Knowledge:
· Min 5-7 years of retail/commerce experience, e-commerce or digital marketing experience considered an asset.
· BA/BS degree in relevant fields are required.
· Knowledge of project management processes and terminology, CAPM or PMP designation preferred.
· Knowledge of content management systems, SEO, Google Analytics 360, and user experience software
· Ability to work extended business hours and days as required.
