А leading urban and rural development and living services provider in China LLC Betskoy is recruiting a Chief Architect.
Main duties:
Participate in project approvals. Assist approval manager to communicate with government authorities and to answer technical questions;
Coordinate internal product and design effort. Participate in meetings with brokers, operators and tenants to understand design and engineering requirements, hence to finalize design brief for the project;
Manage all design consultants. Responsibilities include design brief drafting, contract review, payment approval, review and comment on delivered drawings and documents, as well as regular coordination with design consultants to arrange meetings, presentations, workshops;
Consolidate and present work progress on a regular basis to management and headquarter office to ensure smooth internal communication, understand and implement comments from the management;
Participate in site supervision and quality control during construction period;
Reporting to: Head of Design Department.
Requirements:
Total work experience of 5~10 years;
Experience in projects with similar scale and complexity;
Outstanding design sensibility and knowledge of international design trends;
Understand Russian building code and all related requirements including traffic, firefighting;
Experience in design approval process on state level;
Experience in coordination of landscape design and engineering solutions;
Preferred experience in development / construction;
Proficient in hand sketches and architectural drafting and modeling software;
English language – fluent;
Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
