Тravel-company Tumlare Corporation is looking to recruit a Chief Accountant.

 

The purpose of the function “Chief Accountant” is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the Saint-Petersburg and Moscow Offices and help Management team be fully aware of its financial condition. Ultimately to ensure the accuracy and completeness of daily accounting operations, government reporting, corporate monthly and quarterly reporting. This needs to be done with strong commitment to the company and its policies as well as local rules and regulations.

 

Key Activities

Financial accuracy and Reporting

Overall responsibility of all activities performed by accounting team (2 subordinates)
Compliance with all policies and legal requirements — careful monitoring of SPB and MOW offices accounting to ensure legal compliance
Ensuring documentation reflects current process at all times
Ensuring financial accuracy of the financial data in managerial system
Communication with banks and tax authorities
Ensuring timely government reporting
Complete monthly / quarterly / yearly close activities and corporate reports in accordance with assigned schedules
Ensuring timely payments and over budget control
Internal audit and year-end audit activities
Processing SPB office cost split by units and ensuring all proper approvals received
Assisting with budgeting process, budget files completion
Assisting with SPB Office budget monitoring & control (actual vs budget) throughout the year

Staff management

Organization of the working process in the most efficient way
Staff trainings, coaching and motivation
Task and volume distribution and follow-up
Supervision of daily tasks in areas of responsibility
Making sure that all the procedures are followed by staff
Review performance and provide regular updates & feedback on team problematic areas
Coordination of vacation and back up planning and control

 

Knowledge & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Advanced MS Excel skills
Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
Managerial skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure
Proficient in spoken and written English

 

Experience

3 — 5 years of relevant work experience
