The finance team of the European leader in the sports market is looking for the team leader of the accounting team in connection with the planned change of the project of the current leader. You are going to manage the team of 30 people (6 in direct), assisting them to grow in the Company and to guarantee the reliability of financial statements.

 

Responsibility:

Human:

  • Responsible for the recruitment of strong potentials
  • Responsible of the development of the team mates: propose tailored development plans, teach, share
  • Identify the points to improve of the team mates and find effective situations/ ways to guarantee the development of those points
  • Identify the talents in the team, take risks to give more responsibility and follow up
  • Build an effective, motivated and complementary team
  • Present and promote the internal career possibilities and development plans Involve the team in the external recruitment, listen and take into consideration their opinion, keeping the level of exigency
  • Guarantee the continuity of the team (permanent recruitment)
  • Guarantee the good integration of new teammates
  • Develop and implement a team strategy with a focus on strong governance and resilience, consistent with international objectives

Accounting:

  • Responsible for correctness of BS and PL according to RAS, tax legislation and group norms
  • Perform regular in-depth analysis on financials, ensuring the integrity and financial accuracy of our books and records
  • Alert and play an active role in securing the business and mitigate the risks identified in the area of responsibility
  • Validate accounting schemes for activities in the company
  • Represent Accounting through effective communication with in-country business managers, other departments or with the group partners

 

Requirements:

Hard skills:

  • Know to recruit the team and accompany their development (experience in management 6 years min, promotions inside the team)
  • Know how to lead individual and collective meetings with the team, how to make the annual appraisal
  • Have experience in organisation of best practice sharing inside and outside of the company
  • Know methods for strategy building I know RAS, tax and IFRS standards for all the accounting sections
  • Know how to make analysis of process efficiency in activity
  • English level C1
