Calzedonia Group is an international company with more than 5000 stores (Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Intimissimi Uomo, Tezenis, Falconeri) in more than 55 different countries all over the World. In Russia we already have more than 550 stores, and the Company is constantly growing.
As a Chief Accountant you will have the following responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for Russian Accounting Standards bookkeeping and related IFRS;
- Preparation and submission of statutory financial statements in compliance with Russian legislation;
- Control of all areas of accounting;
- Management of the accounting department team;
- Preparation and monitoring of month end and year end closings, preparation of financial reports and ensuring that all balance sheet and income statements are accurate;
- Responsibility for calculating monthly accruals, provisions and other recurring accruals;
- Preparing, signing and submitting of: VAT tax declarations, profits tax declarations, property tax report, transport tax report and other taxes;
- Responsibility for all the transfer pricing documents and requirements;
- Responsibility for recording of all accounting transactions;
- Accomplishment with all fiscal and statistic possible requests;
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders such as attorneys and external parties such as customers or suppliers;
- Reviewing financial records, contracts and other documentation to determine and ensure accuracy and completeness of data;
- Managing acquiring and cash collection services (both for offline and online stores);
- Responsible for communication with the tax authorities and other public authorities regarding all questions including tax audits;
- Interpret legislative and regulatory requirements where necessary and ensure any resulting amendments to processes or procedures are implemented;
- Participating in SAP improvement processes and business projects.
Requirements:
- Work experience as Chief Accountant in an international company;
- University degree in Economics with focus on Accounting, Finance and Taxation;
- Strong knowledge of Russian Accounting Standards and taxation rules;
- Knowledge ERP/accounting IT softwares and MS Excel;
- Fluent English;
- Dynamic, stress resistance, communicative and team-oriented personality.
