Тhe fully integrated Italian eyewear creator Safilo is looking for a Chief Accountant who will be responsible for General Accounting for the Russian subsidiary with the further responsibility of Credit management.
Key Accountabilities:
Controlling and supervising of accounting department consisting of 3 persons;
Control under reporting according Russian statutory and Tax requirements;
Month-end –closing process supervising, based on HQ requirements — 6 working days;
Quarter-end –closing process supervising, based on IFRS requirements;
Assist Finance Manager during internal and external audits;
Monthly variance analysis actual/forecast/budget;
Experience with Budget and forecast preparation;
Cash Flow;
Reconciliation of account payable transactions;
Posting and supervision of travel expenses for salesforce and internal staff;
Supplier masterdata periodic maintenance in the ERP system;
Performing of ad-hoc analysis of expenses trend and reporting;
Support in the preparation of the annual financial statements;
Apply and supervise the internal controls requirements;
Support in the budget and forecast preparation;
Preparation of supporting documentation for audits (tax audit included).
Desired skills:
Accounting Education (Bachelor degree in economics, business or management preferred but not mandatory);
Experience in multinational company as Chief accountant or Deputy Chief accountant not less than 3 years;
Well-developed communication skills;
Responsibility and persistence on target achievement;
Team working, solid problem-solving approach, analytical thinking;
Good management and leadership skills;
Good knowledge: 1C, Excel;
English intermediate;
Analytical skill with a strong eye for details;
Responsible, proactive, autonomous and flexible in organizing tasks and meeting deadlines;
Team spirit with the strong ability to communicate properly with internal and external stakeholder at all levels;
Dynamic, passionate, positive and enthusiastic attitude;
Advanced knowledge of Excel;
Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM);
Knowledge of Access is a plus.
