Аn international company in the healthcare industry is seeking a Chief Accountant.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of US GAAP, local statutory financial statements in accordance with RAS and Russian Tax ledgers;
Month end accruals review and posting;
Preparation of key reserves;
Prepare monthly Intercompany invoices and reconcile month end balances with regions;
Revenue and COGS accounting;
Inventory and Fixed asset postings and reconciliations;
Daily bank postings and reconciliations;
Explain and substantiate balance sheet variances;
AP & AR process management;
Credit control;
Coordinates Internal and external audits for assigned legal entity;
Preparation of local statutory Financial Statements;
Preparations of VAT returns and maintain/improve VAT compliance processes;
Internal control and compliance program including SOX.
Requirements:
Degree in economics or finance & accounting;
Work experience as Chief Accountant (preferable in international companies, Healthcare);
Working knowledge of US GAAP and local statutory/tax regulations;
Experience with SOX 404 compliance is a must;
Proficiency with 1C, solid Excel skills;
Fluent English;
Solid communication and presentation skills;
Ability to meet tight deadlines, thoroughness and attention to detail;
Confident, enthusiastic and a team player.
