Playrix is looking for a Chief Accountant.
The company is looking for a highly qualified and business-oriented Methodology Manager to join the team and manage the development, updating, and analysis of the correctness of compliance with accounting methodology. In this role, you will create and improve processes while implementing cross-functional and international projects. You will be able to lead changes in the group's accounting process methodology, build a system of internal controls, and participate in the automation of routine processes.
This role requires relocation from Russia and Belarus to one of the offices or remote work from other countries (except Russia and Belarus).
Tasks:
- Develop and update intragroup accounting methodology as well as local accounting policies and instructions
- Participate in the development of methodology for preparing consolidated reporting
- Develop and implement internal group report templates
- Approve intra-group agreements for compliance with the operating model of the group of companies
- Develop, update, and analyze the implementation of elements for internal audits and internal control in terms of accounting
- Develop and update the methodology for monthly accounting closures
- Analyze compliance with accounting recommendations for a group of companies and verify the correctness of the formation of financial statements
- Develop and update the interaction process with external auditors, as well as support work with external auditors
- Control of pricing in intra-group transactions, the presence of controlled transactions in companies included in the group
- Participate in the process of preparing benchmarks for transfer pricing by location and area of activity, and analyze their compliance with the range according to accounting data
- Participate in the preparation of the CbCR report
- Approve transfer pricing documentation
- Consult chief accountants on issues of drafting notifications and reporting on transfer pricing
Requirements:
- University degree
- 3+ years of experience in the role of Accounting Methodologist/Chief Accountant at an IT/FMCG company with 1,000+ employees
- Excellent knowledge of accounting and tax principles
- Experience in implementing international projects and an understanding of the specifics of foreign trade activities
- Experience and expert knowledge of 1C systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- English at level B2+
