Nowadays the company is seeking a Chief Accountant.

 

As a Chief Accountant, you will manage the accounting and payroll activities of the branch with inherent responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Organization and managing the work of the accounting & payroll department
Formation and updating of accounting policies and procedures, as well as local regulatory documents of the company
Organization and control of management, accounting and tax accounting
Accounting, tax, statistical reporting delivery in compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation
Support for the reporting of global taxes (transfer pricing reporting) and tax related reporting to the headquarter
Work with accounts receivable and payable
Participation in the 1C system implementation and development
Participation in month-end accounts reconciliation (1C vs local ERP system – Unit4 Agresso)
Participation in quarterly closings
Interaction with Accounting Department in France
Payroll accounting for 150-200 persons including relevant reports to the States authorities
Support queries from cross-functions including but not limited to Accounting, Invoicing, Treasury, Business, Recruitment, HR, Legal departments
Prepare and control corporate reporting and other financial topics of the Group Financial Director
Development and implementation of measures aimed at improving the quality of the department’s work, increasing the efficiency of the department’s employees, incl. automation of processes, reduction of routine operations

 

Requirements:
Higher education in Accounting, Tax, Audit, Finance or related field
3+ years’ experience as a Chief Accountant preferably in international companies
People management experience – leading a team of 3-5 people
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Payroll experience for 150-200 persons
Tax expertize in VAT, corporate profit tax and transfer pricing
Fluent English, a good command of French would be a plus
Proficiency with 1C:Accounting and 1C:Payroll, MS Excel, Unit4 Agresso would be a plus
Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
Very good knowledge of Russian accounting standards and IFRS
Should be able to adapt to constant changing of business requirements.
