Responsibilities:
Organization and managing the work accounting department
Formation and updating of accounting policies and procedures
Organization of accounting, timely delivery of accounting, tax, statistical reporting in compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation (2 legal entities)
Support queries from cross-functions including but not limited to Accounting, Procurement, Legal, Operations, IT, Marketing and Product Departments
Participation in the development of local regulatory documents of the company
Development and implementation of measures aimed at improving the quality of the Department’s work, increasing the efficiency of the department’s employees, incl. automation of processes, reduction of routine operations
Implementation of fast-closing
Participation in the 1C system implementation and development
Requirements:
Higher education in Accounting, Tax, Audit, Finance or related field
3+ years experience as Chief Accountant in global companies (experience in IT/E-Com is a plus)
Experience working in foreign economic activity
People management experience – leading a team of 3-5 people
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Tax expertize in VAT, corporate profit tax and transfer pricing
Fluent English
Proficiency with 1C, MS Excel, experience in implementation of ERP systems
Solid understanding of accounting and finance principles
RAS/IFRS accounting knowledge according to the Audit policy
Experience in working with BIG4 companies,
Fast-closing experience (fast closing of reporting)
Should be able to adapt to constant changing of business requirements.
