Key responsibilities
Manage accounting, reporting, taxation and transfer pricing functions in STADA CIS
Lead the team of 45 professionals in Russia. Provide functional leadership for chief accountants in rep offices of Russia legal entity in 10 countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Tajikistan, Moldavia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan)
Manage accounting policies and align accounting standards between legal entities and rep offices
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements (RAP,IFRS) for 3 legal entities in Russia and 1 legal entity in Kazakhstan
Ensure all taxes filings and tax payments are made accurately and on time
Maintain collaboration with internal and external auditors (Big4)
Build and manage transparent communication and collaboration with tax authorities in the scope of tax monitoring regime
Develop and manage proper transfer pricing models for IC operations
Support implementation and enforcement of internal controls and compliance procedures
Manage month end, quarter end and year end closing under IFRS following financial standards and procedures of the company
Provide professional support in M&A projects
Initiate and lead ongoing projects in P2P, O2C, R2R process improvements and IT systems’ developments (including process automatization, e-invoicing, e-billing, electronic T&E reports, etc.)
Requirements
Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Accounting or Finance
Completed ACCA
More than 10 years of professional experience (including more than 3 years in Chief Accountant role or similar)
Advanced knowledge of Russian accounting and tax standards as well as IFRS
Experience in dealing with tax and other authorities audits
Experienced SAP and MS Office user
Proven track record in accounting processes optimization
Project management skills and ability to follow through and complete tasks on time
Experience in an international environment
Fluent English
